Biography

Shardul Bhusari is pursuing Masters in Biological Sciences and Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering as a part of dual degree program at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani University. Previously, he did a research internship based on the topic "Collagen based nano-biointerfaces" at University of Groningen, Netherlands as an Erasmus Mundus exchange student. He joined Steele's Laboratory in February, 2016 for his Master's thesis project titled "Extruded biodegradable composite based on citrate elastomer and multi-walled carbon nanotubes."

Research Interests

Shardul's research interest lies in the field of biomaterials, tissue engineering applications and coatings for orthopaedic implants.
