Biography

Dr. Jeremy D. Lease currently holds a Senior Research Fellow position at MSE-NTU under Assoc Prof Terry Steele, working on Directed Energy Materials (DRM) for Advanced Manufacturing. He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) where he worked on biomaterials for liver tissue scaffolding. He then worked for six years at a research centre (Minerals, Metals & Materials Technology Centre) under the Faculty of Engineering at NUS as a Research Fellow/Program Manager on industrial projects relating to natural resources (ex. iron-ore, coal). His most recent professional experience lies in 3D printing, having spent the last 10 over years in startup companies in Singapore (Structo Pte Ltd) and the US (polySpectra Inc.), primarily leading teams in the development of 3D printing resins for MSLA/SLA type printer systems. He also has experience in setting & scaling up production and quality systems for manufacturing operations.

Directed Energy Materials (DEM), MSLA/SLA 3D printing, adhesives.
