Biography

Dr. Animesh Ghosh currently holds a Research Fellow position at MSE-NTU under Assoc Prof Terry Steele, working on the development of electrocured adhesives for biomedical and industrial applications. After receiving Ph.D in organic chemistry from Osmania University (India), he carried out postdoctoral research at UMASS medical school (USA) and at National University of Singapore (NUS) on anti-HIV & opioid antagonist drugs, and development of siRNA transfection reagents. He worked 8 years as a Senior Research Scientist at Albany Molecular Research Inc on small molecule drug development projects. Apart from research and teaching, Animesh has supervised several Ph.D and mentored many undergraduate students for their final year projects.
