Biography

Tobias Wenner was trained and worked as chemical laboratory assistant at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co KG for 3.5 years before he began his pharmacy studies in Mainz, Germany. During his studies he worked as a tutor at Merz Pharma GmbH. He finished his pharmacy studies in 2012 and joined Terry Steele's Group at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as a research assistant. His research dealt with the development of an ocular drug delivery system against cytomegalovirus and the related analytical methods. The project was concluded after 6 month when he went back to Germany.

Research Interests

Tobias Wenner's research interests are innovative drug delivery systems and the developement of analytical methods. He improved his analytical skills especially while at Boehringer Ingelheim and in Steele's Lab. During his exams he chose ocular drug delivery as his major topic and proceeded with research in this field at NTU.
